Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data chooseyour3dprinter.com processes when you visit the site, why, and what your rights are. The short version: we do not ask you for any personal data, we do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not set cookies for visitors.

Who is responsible

The data controller for this website is:
Mikkel Kimergård

Contact us at the email address above with any question about your data.

What we process when you visit

Like every website, our server needs some technical data to send you the page. When you visit, our hosting provider Simply.com (Denmark) automatically logs your IP address, the date and time, the page you requested, your browser type and the page you came from. Simply.com also runs a firewall that checks requests to block attacks.

We use this data to deliver the website, keep it secure and find errors. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Server logs are kept only as long as our hosting provider needs them for security and troubleshooting, and are then deleted automatically. Simply.com processes this data on our behalf as our data processor, under a data processing agreement.

We do not use this data to identify you, and we do not combine it with other data.

Cookies

We do not set any cookies when you browse the site. Fonts and images are served from our own server, so your browser does not contact Google or other third parties when you load our pages.

Cookies are only set for site administrators who log in to WordPress. They are needed for the login to work.

The printer finder

The printer finder on the front page runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not saved and not sent to us or anyone else.

Links to stores and affiliate links

When you click a “Check price” button, you are sent to the manufacturer’s or retailer’s own store. We do not pass any personal data to the store.

Some of these links may be affiliate links. That means the store, or an affiliate network such as Awin or Impact working for the store, may set a cookie in your browser after you arrive on their site, so they can see that you came from us. If you buy something, we may receive a commission. We receive information about the sale, such as the product and the order value, but not your name, contact details or payment information.

Those cookies are set by the store or the network, not by us, and are covered by their own privacy policies and cookie banners.

Comments and contact forms

The site has no comments, user accounts, newsletter or contact form. If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • get access to the personal data we hold about you
  • have incorrect data corrected
  • have your data deleted
  • restrict or object to our processing
  • receive your data in a portable format

To use your rights, email us at mikkelkimergaard123@gmail.com.

You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, datatilsynet.dk, dt@datatilsynet.dk.

We update this policy when the site changes, for example if we add analytics or a newsletter. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
